At Amooz App Studio, we believe you should always be in control of your data. If you’d like to delete the data associated with your use of MathStudy, you can do so in just a few seconds using either of the methods below.
Method 1: Delete from Within the App (Fastest)
This is the quickest way to delete your data. Everything is removed immediately, with no waiting or back-and-forth.
- Open MathStudy on your Android device.
- Tap the Settings tab at the top-right of the Home screen.
- Scroll down to the Data & Privacy section.
- Tap Delete My Data.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
That’s it. Your data is deleted right away.
Method 2: Email Us a Deletion Request
If you’ve already uninstalled MathStudy or you’re unable to access the in-app option for any reason, just send us an email and we’ll take care of it for you.

To help us locate your data quickly, please include in your email:
- The approximate date you first installed MathStudy
- The email address linked to your Google Play purchase (only if you had an active premium subscription)
- Any other detail that might help us identify your data
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once it’s complete. Most requests are handled within a few business days.
What Gets Deleted
When you request deletion, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your scan history and AI Tutor sessions
- Your lifetime usage statistics (total scans, app opens, features used)
- Your local app preferences
- Your anonymous device identifier
- Subscription tier records linked to your device
What Is Kept to Prevent Abuse
A small set of free-tier scan counters (daily and monthly) are kept after deletion to prevent abuse of the free tier — without them, a user could repeatedly delete their data to reset their scan limits.
These counters:
- Contain no personally identifiable information
- Reset automatically over time (daily counters reset every 24 hours; monthly counters reset at the start of each month)
- Are only used to enforce the 3-scans-per-day and 10-scans-per-month free-tier limit
If you upgrade to a Premium subscription, these counters become irrelevant and are no longer applied to your account.
What Is Not Automatically Deleted
A couple of things you should know about:
- Your Google Play subscription. Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription. To cancel, please visit https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions or open the Google Play Store on your phone, tap your profile icon, and go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Records we are required to keep by law. A small number of records, such as proof of past purchases for tax purposes, may be retained as required by applicable laws. These records are kept securely and are not used for any other purpose.
